To start off with good news- wifi does exist! I just have to get to it. So, hopefully that will happen either today or a couple days from now.
And then to go on into even better news- I had a warm shower today! Apparently one of the showers runs warm but there is a trick to getting it to. So, I had a warm shower! I woke up dreading the prospect of a cold shower, but when I got in the shower and it was warm I felt like screaming out "HALLEIJULAH" (sorry for the spelling, clearly I can't spell halleijulah).
Today those of us who are not certified are going to go through First Aid and CPR training. I've never done this before so I have no clue what to expect from it.
Most of orientation so far has been meetings, and yesterday everyone met with their work supervisors for the first time. There I got a look at what a general week long schedule might look like, and we got a list of churches that have signed up for the Youth Service Corp and what dates they will be coming.
So, I'm pretty excited. It looks like this is going to be an interesting summer.
